*A revision has been made to PEP 2009-R-01 entitled "Acceptability, feasibility and validity of genital self-sampling for HPV among men." The revised announcement alters the age range on the background information and the requested study.

Funding amounts noted are estimates and are subject to availability of funds and includes direct and indirect costs.

Applications submitted in response to the 2009 Potential Extramural Projects (Research) must be prepared using the PHS 398 grant application.

Hint: Be sure to review the formatting guidelines and the application review criteria for the PHS 398 before preparing your grant application.

An original and six collated copies of your full grant application and application coversheet must be submitted to your respective association by 5:00 p.m. EST on March 16, 2009.

All applicants must address any questions to their member Associations who will provide answers for all applicants following consultation with CDC. All questions and answers will be posted to this site on the Research FAQs page.

All questions pertaining to the PEPs will be addressed through March 15, 2009. No additional questions will be addressed after the deadline date.
